Christmas 2010
I am not sure who will want to read this silly little blog, but I think it will be a fun way to remember my wedding planning journey. I only plan on doing this once, and I want to do it right! I met my fiance in college and we had been dating for exactly two years when he proposed. He is a wonderful guy and I feel so lucky to have him currently he is living his dream as a high school history teacher and football coach and is being one of my biggest supports as I work my way through nursing school.
I grew up in a small town in Missouri and our wedding will take place in my home church on July 6, 2013. I am so excited :) As I mentioned I am still in college and had a 3 week long Christmas break. I used this time to go to reception venue options with my fiance, Mom and sisters and I think we found the one! I'll be calling tomorrow to finalize. Next on my to do list is finding a photographer so that we can get our date saved, I think after that the wedding planning will go on the back burner as school starts getting more hectic.
Some future posts I want to write include our proposal story and reception venue options in my area. Maybe if another Northeast Missouri Bride stumbles across this blog she'll find it helpful for planning. <3 Lauren
